What is ultrasonic and does it really repel the mouse?

Ultrasonic is known by more and more people but how we define the ultrasonic? Maybe lots of us still only have simple and fuzzy knowledge about it. In fact the hearing range of human is between 16HZ to 20000Hz. While the frequency less than 16Hz is define as infrasonic wave. It is test that the younger mouse can emit the ultrasonic frequency between 30 to 50Khz when they are threatened. And during adult mouse doing mating, they will emit ultrasonic to express their happiness. Lots of test prove the ultrasonic is their language and they communicate through ultrasonic. So after knowing this, we can utilize the high and powerful frequency ultrasonic to repel the mouse by disturbing and threaten them, making them threatened ,and uneasy and escape away from their activity place.
